Properly configure env service #10
Description
I've written an env service that is present in the main branch, but the env object is not actually being utilized. In this draft PR I've attempted to utilize the service but I can't quite figure out why the variables are not being correctly loaded. I know this is the case because upon starting the server it crashes for that exact reason.
