Build Fail

Cloned and ran from MacOS Ventura terminal.

Error log ->
FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

• Where:
  Settings file '/Users/****/repos/demo/desktop_app/settings.gradle'

• What went wrong:
  Could not compile settings file '/Users/******/repos/demo/desktop_app/settings.gradle'.

startup failed:
General error during conversion: Unsupported class file major version 63

I'd really like to take a look at the work done here. How do I resolve this? I am very unfamiliar with java web app builds?

I believe you need to change a line in demo/gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties to distributionUrl=https\:// services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.6-bin.zip To make the version of Gradle match the version of Java they are using.
