AASTex7.0.1 compilation with arxiv

I am having real difficulty in getting arxiv to accept a package compiled with AASTex7.0.1 or AASTex7.0. I am wondering whether this is a known issue or a particular one with my package. The manuscript in question compiles and renders a pdf on Overleaf. It appears to be not recognizing the bbliography, and complains about a missing CoFirstAuthor.png file in the .cls file. I get only warning on Overleaf, all tied to floats for figures.

Weird. That png file is meant to be like the ORCID symbol we use but to identify co first authors. This project was put on hold but still exists in the classfile in case we wanted to turn it on. This should never be called so I am curious why arxiv is tripping over it. The only solution I have currently is to either create your own CoFirstAuthor.png file, doesn't matter what is in it, and upload that, or modify the classfile to comment out that line. I will make sure this is fixed in v7.0.2.
