npm ERR! Invalid tag name "^>=6.0.0": Tags may not have any characters that encodeURIComponent encodes

I am getting this error npm ERR! Invalid tag name "^>=6.0.0": Tags may not have any characters that encodeURIComponent encodes in Angular 15 version. I do not want to use --legacy-peer-deps to solve this. I am using both dependencies with latest version

"ngx-text-diff": "^0.6.0"

A workaround is to run:

npm i ngx-text-diff --legacy-peer-deps

Which will make npm ignore the syntax errors in semantic versions.
