RDFauthor is grayed out after closing Add Value dialog

Somethimes, after closing the Add Value dialog the RDFauthor main windows for editing properties is still grayed out.

In my experience, this happens every time the Add Property dialog is displayed above the Create Instance dialog and then closed. The Create Instance dialog remains grayed out as in the screenshot below (the property is added correctly, but I can't continue creating the instance):
