Changes / Fixes

This release focuses on bug fixes and minor improvements.
Please report any bugs by either raising an issue or visiting the discord discussion thread. Be sure to include both the host and client player.log files in your report.

Misc

• Cleaned up logging and compiler warnings
• Refactored player distance calculations
• Changed default to enable debug logging.
  Note: on slower systems this may cause lag, if necessary, disable Debug Logging
• Updated French language (Edited french locale #60)
• Fixed main menu issue when a client exits a game
• Fixed issue for VR players where the Chat GUI can not be loaded
• Fixed issue where IPv6 connections could fail

Game

• Re-wrote train car spawn code
• Cars now spawn initialised with:
  • Brake states
  • Coupling states
  • Hose connection and cock states
  • Paint theme
  • Demonstrator / restoration status (note: restoration sync is not complete!)
• Implemented coupling interaction to fix issues with B99 coupling behaviour
• Improved brake sync (pressures and overheating)
• Resolved Undefined packet 34 in NetDataReader issue
• Resolved Lantern issue
• Resolved issue where items not fully initialised create a null reference exception
• Resolved issues where cargo state sync resulted in overloading cargo
• Implemented fixes for bogie, car and car info plate loading delays
• Resolved issues with job validation on clients
• Fixed issues with job sync for completed or abandoned jobs
• Fixed issues where fast travel by any player caused carriages to be deleted, even if other players were nearby
• Fixed issues where cars, jobs, etc. would not spawn if the ID had been recycled (fast lookup cache incorrectly clearing)
• Derailed cars should now be less "twitchy"

Known Bugs

• Clients are unable to self service locomotives - self service objects (e.g. pipes, chutes, plugs, nozzles) not synced
• Horns, whistles and steam loco reversers can play up when more than one player is in the loco; this is not a breaking issue, only a mild inconvenience.
• MU chains behave the same as the horns and whistles, playable but mildly annoying
• Shop, world items, inventory for players other than the host not yet synced - job overviews, booklets and reports are partially sync'd
• Many other minor bugs and inconveniences, which we'll work through as we tick off the bigger issues.
• New game features including paint themes and "Demonstrator vehicles" are not completely sync'd and will be worked on over the coming releases.
• When a job is completed and the Job Booklet is turned in by a client, cash only spawns on the host's game - this is expected to be fixed with Item Sync.

Features in progress

• Job sync - This is on hold, pending release of item sync
• Item sync - good progress has been made; there were a few outstanding issues we were working on prior to B99's release. Major updates in B99 (many new "smart" items and a new mounting system) will delay the release of this feature
• Easier to setup networking (NAT punch etc.)
