Netwrix Auditor for Active Directory: Free Community Edition
The free edition of Netwrix Auditor provides a daily change control email for Active Directory, on-premises Exchange, and Windows Server (and Entra / Exchange Online / SharePoint / Teams) with before/after values.
The tool starts out in 'trial' mode' and once it goes into 'free' mode you lose access to the 'Who' field (i.e. the user account making the change). However I have found this does not limit its usefulness, especially in small environments where there are a limited number of administrators. It does harvest emails but I have found that you don't get spam beyond the initial welcome email, and Netwrix mostly tend to leave you alone once you say you're not interested. *Another Netwrix tool (PingCastle) is already in the Wiki
