lava not getting xrayed in 1.21.10

Describe the bug
whenever you turn on show lava at any chunk distance lava will not be highlighted on minecraft 1.21.10

To Reproduce
pretty self explanatory

Expected behavior
i expected lava to be highlighted

Minecraft Enviorment

• Minecraft Version: 1.21.10
• XRay Mod Version: 21.9.2
• Mod Pack & Version: fabric (0.138.3 fabric api version)

Additional context
whenever you turn on show lava at any chunk distance lava will not be highlighted (yes i amde sure xray was turned on)

Do you have shaders or anything?
I do not have any shaders (I do have vanilla tweaks resource pack but this doesn't happen on other modpacks with the same resource pack
