Twitch stream from PS4 isn't being intercepted.

I set the DNS on my PS4 to the PC I want to capture the stream. I then started the server on the PC and did not touch any of the advanced settings. Tested the connection and the program detects the PS4. I start the stream on the PS4 and it still goes through to twitch. I know if I leave the server off and test the internet connection on the PS4 with just the IP on the PC as the DNS it won't connect which makes sense. Is there some cache or something that needs cleared that makes it remember the old DNS settings?

Same problem here on a new installation today. opened port 53 and 1935 on the firewall of the laptop receiving the dns. even tested with the firewall completely turned off. Still went trough to twitch. Maybe the ingress server names need to be updated.

Glancing over the code i couldnt find it referencing any list of those.

I did what this program does before with just a pihole for dns and nginx for rtmp. I had to find out what server names were in use quite often. Your program is way easier to use tho.

No problem! I would try to figure it out myself, but I only know enough to start breaking stuff. I can screenshot what my Pi-Hole sees when the DNS is set to that IP address if that helps. Hopefully it's an easy fix and you don't rewrite the whole thing. I'm trying to help a friend who wants to stream with the bare minimum amount of wires but still have the custom overlays.

Just released v1.2.7, that should solve this issue. In case anybody wanted the fun details, my domain rule for the DNS was *.contribute.live-video.net, but apparently the default ingest server is ingest.global-contribute.live-video.net (no dot before contribute), not sure if that changed or if it just wasn't really used much before.

fyi i tried testing it on two different systems (my laptop and my desktop). Both windows defenders reported a virus ( Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml ) in the zipfile. Downloading it to an exclusion folder allowed for unzipping and the program runs but can't start the server instance on either system. the start button keeps showing the loading icon, the web server doesn't come up and the nameserver doesn't fire up.

Not working on Xbox. Set up according to the instructions, yet no link appears in Home tab. Device is somehow detected but the stream isn't intercepted when started.

Hey, I noticed this project hasn't been maintained in a while but still figured to ask, I setup everything as instructed and the app works fine, but when I tried the streaming option on Ps4, which was detected through the DNS, however only once for some reason, and the Twitch stream went directly to Twitch and wasn't intercepted. I don't know if it doesn't work because of new software updates to the PS4, or what it could be, but figure I'd mention this.
