Help with porting to 1.12.2 needed

Hi ! i would love to use this mod on my 1.12 instance to play arduino with :p

I tried to get the hand on source, got intellij setup correctly, but i don't know forge and all the changes to port it from 1.7 to 1.12.

I understand if you can't do the port, and I will try to find someone which can help to release a new version with your permission*

Unfortunately, I’m not up on what is necessary to port to newer versions of Minecraft, nor do I have the time to devote to it. I’d love to see someone take up the task of porting this to newer versions, though!

the people who made MCreator have already done so, it's a mod called MCreator Link at mcreator.net/link (the mod is just a connectivity mod for arduino/raspi and has an API which can be added to an MCreator project to use the features). even though link can connect minecraft via arduino, it's essentially a modmaking API for mcreator mods
