Installation/setup help anyone?

Hi there! I wanted to ask if anyone here would be so kind to walk me through the installation/setup process. I tried to setup ACE in VS Code with Bartman's toolchain for some days now but I just can't get it to work.

I have to say that I'm quite new to VS Code and CMake. I worked with VBCC and Sublime Text before and didn't use any makefiles or toolchains, just the build function in Sublime.

I managed to setup VC Code with Bartman's toolchain successfully, then I installed MinGW, CMake, AmigaCMakeCrossToolchains, Git and everything else. But from there things started to fall apart, even though I tried to follow the tutorials as closely as possible...

Let me know where did things started to fall apart - at which doc page are you exactly on and which step was problematic. I somehow need to know how to guide you through it ;)

Hi, might be useful, but I documented the steps when I was setting up ACE with Visual Studio Code, CMake, Bebbos GCC etc (for Windows).

Am using Bebbo's toolchain - the pre compiled 'setup-amiga-gcc.exe' version from here.
Also, am using Windows. But you should have no issue if using Linux. And Linux actually is even more straightforward..

The 'Starfield' example is also there and configured when you get things working..
