Description
Hi.
Wonder if anyone can give some insight... I got an Xperia 10 Plus to tinker with. It is not getting any mobile signal. Maybe bad antenna or something, but figured I'd do some flashing to see if maybe new baseband or something might help.
The mfg tag inside the sim slot shows model number as L3223. That is the US branded single-sim version of 10 Plus. The Settings on the phone show model number as L4213, which is the European dual-sim version. The phone only has one sim slot. Connecting the phone to Flashtool, (Androxyde or Sony Emma), shows device info as L4213.
BUT, I can use Newflasher to flash L3223 firmware, and it flashes and boots fine, (but still no mobile signal), and the phone info now shows the model number as L3223, BUT when connecting to Flashtool, device info still shows as L4213, and Flashtool won't flash L3223 firmware, because it claims wrong model.
On the phone, in settings, and in service menu, the model shows as L3223. It seems like it is actually L3223, because of the tag, and it only has one sim slot.
What is Flashtool seeing that is telling it is is L4213? Can I wipe/replace that info?
When using Newflasher, I ran it with all firmware files included, so I would assume everything is overwritten...
Thanks
