Once I start working on the microscopy addition to Forge, I'll look into adding in support for a motorized polarized light filter as the lens setup is designed with being able to add in additional elements within the light path from the start..

Right now, the default lens for Forge is poorly suited for a motorized filter. If there's enough interest I'll look into adding methods to add one to it.
