"One thing that I thought might be helpful on the GUI would be direct manipulation of the machine-vision exclusion area...I set the range at the beginning of a batch but occasionally find that subsequent cores are a bit more off-center than others. It would be really slick if, when the "area in focus" heatmap overlay is active if I could just drag/move the rectangle on the screen to adjust the area rather than navigating to the settings menu"
For this, it should be included as a toggle in two places, the Calibration menus and the tree core scanning automation.
