Hi Antony,
Is it possible to add a software feature to change media with keyboard shortcuts or a wireless command (forward/backward, start/end)
We use one like this with Windows photos app: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FV0FAL2

Perhaps we can distill what the exact requirements are.

In fact, our Circuit Overseer uses a remote controller each time... and sometimes the elders also use it.
I don't see anything on French instructions about that.
French branch advises using VLC for the other media... but it is not very practical :( so I prefer OnlyM ;)
I understand if you have other instructions and no time to spend to add these features

First ideas about this FR follow. Please feel free to comment.

We'd need some fixed keyboard shortcuts to perform the following 5 functions: (with an explanation of each function in various application states):

Functions:

1. Forward
2. Back
3. Start
4. Stop
5. Pause

Application States:

1. Current item is video/audio.
2. Current item is video/audio playing.
3. Current item is OnlyM slideshow.
4. Current item is OnlyM slideshow playing.
5. Current item is website/PDF.
6. Current item is website/PDF showing.
7. Current item is image.
8. Current item is image showing.

Function Descriptions per State:

Note that I don't propose to allow users to specify the keyboard shortcuts to use, but there shiould be an option to turn the use of such shortcuts on or off (default is off).

Thank you very much for us :)
For don't spend too many times, I propose to you, if it's possible, in the first time to make a Minimum Valuable Product with only

Functions:

1. Forward (right arrow)
2. Back (left arrow)

And Application States:
7. Current item is image
8. Current item is image showing
==> is_available ? show the next/previous image in the folder

The brother behind the computer launches the first image and stops at the end but the speaker could control between (and from the computer also).

What do you think ?
