Operation Description / Emergency Status variation

On Android and the OpenDroneID app I can see the Emergency Status text and type correctly but on iOS and DroneScanner I get a series of numbers in Operation Description. Doesn't look like Hex but certainly something converted.

Is this a program side issue (seems like it) and has anyone else seen this?

With ArduPilot, QGC and DroneScanner/Android and setting it to manual Emergency (red button), I get the Operation Description: "Pilot Emergency Status" in the DroneScanner app (tried on two phones). So I assume the issue is on the PX4 side.
