New release

Hi everyone,

I just stumbled across an issue of missing field-validation #2177

While checking I noticed this one (and some others) have been fixed a while ago, but never released. The last release is v2.4.0 from August 08, 2024.

Is there any chance to get a new update containing the latest fixes?

Yes, unfortunately, it seems that Automattic doesn’t give this much priority at the moment, which is a pity. The plugin works, but it has so much untapped potential. A lot has changed in recent years, yet this progress isn’t really reflected here. Automattic could truly elevate and modernize this plugin — I really hope they will consider it in the future.

It would indeed be very nice if a new release is made when something is fixed.
Now I see a bug is fixed, but we run into the same Captcha problem again, so we have to manually change the plugin.

Maybe one of the devs has time during the weekend to fix this 😉
