Task Description

The current README for IssueMatch is very dense and can be overwhelming for new users and contributors. It needs restructuring for clarity, better onboarding, and SWoC 2026 contributor-friendliness. This includes adding a quick overview, organizing features, improving the tech stack section, linking To-Do items to issues, and clarifying contributing instructions.

Goals

  • Make the README easier to scan and understand.
  • Improve onboarding for first-time users and contributors.
  • Highlight SWoC 2026 relevant guidance.
  • Organize technical sections and features visually.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Quick Overview / TL;DR section added.
  • Features are grouped or formatted for readability.
  • Tech stack section clearly separates backend, frontend, and auth.
  • “How It Works” flow is presented as steps or diagram.
  • To-Do list items link to GitHub issues or are clearly labeled.
  • Contributing section is beginner-friendly and SWoC-focused.
  • README passes a readability and clarity review.
