Description
Since this repository doesn't have an explicit license attached to it, any country subscribing to the Berne Convention (which is most of them) has to recognize an automatically-created copyright on the code.
This is kinda a bummer normally, but particularly so for a repository showing examples of how to get started - I can't legally get started using them!
While there are many, many licenses to choose from, I'd recommend a permissive license here; you want as many people as possible to use your code, because that means they're using your service. ;) The MIT license is a classic, although I'm personally rather fond of [the WTFPL](http://www.tldrlegal.com/license/do-wtf-you-want-to-public-license-v2-(wtfpl-2.0\)) and CC0.
I find licgen to be a convenient way of generating license files with the proper formatting, instead of having to copy+paste them all the time.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask, and I'll talk (write?) your ears (eyes?) off.
