Android 16 KB page size support

What feature are you requesting?
Android 16 KB page size support.
Developers will not be able to publish apps to Google Play with this library without 16KB support.

What would be the benefit of adding this feature?
We will be able to use this library after November 2025.

What alternatives have you considered?
The only alternative is not to use this library.

Android Studio gives alignment warnings (4KB LOAD segments) for these shared objects:

• libskypert.so
• librt-java-bindings.so
• libTrouterClientAndroid.so
• libc++_shared.so
• libACSCallingShared.so
• libRtmMediaManagerDyn.so

(coming from azure-communication-calling-2.5.0.aar and trouter-client-android-0.2.0.aar)

These native libraries should be re-compiled/updated to be compliant with the new 16KB alignment requirements.

Thanks for raising this. We’re actively preparing releases that rebuild all affected native libraries with 16 KB page size support (and fix the 4 KB LOAD segment warnings you noted). We’re targeting availability this month (September 2025) so you can meet Google Play’s November 2025 requirement.

No API changes are expected. We’ll update this issue as soon as the artifacts are live (including the azure-communication-calling and trouter-client Android AARs and their bundled .so files).

I confirm this is important.
Without Android 16KB page size support, apps using this library won’t be publishable on Google Play after November 2025.

Please prioritize adding this support.

Thanks Adam, I can confirm that the (Beta) changes worked: Android Studio no longer complains about the 16KB alignment issues.
