Build system?

BS requires a rich ecosystem of related tooling if it is to succeed in it's goals. The first of these should be a build system.

Should we follow the 'ake' pattern and implement build scripts in BS itself - BSake? Or perhaps even better use BSX - the BS equivalent of Jsonx. Another avenue we should explore is use of VBA macros for this purpose

On the flip side, perhaps a build system is out of scope and would not be useful? If this is the case we should consider making it mandatory.

Before we worry about a build system, I think a package manager needs to be invented. bspack should be a priority. And then, of course, we need two or three other package managers created to "fix" those problems preferably all declaring the origin as unfriendly to the community

Remember the enterprise. We need to allow an organisation to build in whatever ways and as many ways as they want. And we can't rely on the community to do this right without an example to follow.
