I'm really interested on this too.
I was able to make band-aid fixes to bypass the detection of Chracter Active and OHB and it worked for auto-flasks.
But the light reflexes on the globes now messes a lot with the OCRed values.
I wonder if @BanditTech tried reading the values from OHBar, instead of globes.
If you could make a new project for PoE2, I'd be willing to help, specially for the auto-flask HP/Mana function, which for me its the best function.

in previous versions I had a pretty complicated system for tracking the OHB and reading the hp and mana from it instead. But it had its own set of issues. most notably was the bar does not stay in one place, and actually moves up and down on your screen rapidly. You just cannot discern that its happening because it looks natural. The system of using the black bar between the healthplates does not seem to be as reliable as it was before. I am not entirely certain what was changed about them, but pretty sure they did quite a few changes since I have played.

I also tried to do OCR for the health and mana text, but once again that has its own issues. Areas with snow become problematic because they are too close in color to the text.

So in short I have tried three types of reading the resource value from the screen and they all have one or more glaring downsides.
