Id second this since the battery usage on my Legions 7i seems high for constant keyboard backlight. |

No Legion has auto-off for keyboard backlight. Currently you can use actions to turn RGB on/off when user is active/inactive. |

I'd also like this feature. :-) But... I also have no clue how much coding that would take and am guessing it would be a lot... I totally get if Bartosz doesn't want to do it. It would be nice though. I regularly use my computer just to listen to music and like having the keyboard lights go off as well as the display. And yes, having the keyboard lights on when running off the battery is a power drain. |

hi,
First of all if the title doesn't make any sense then I am sorry but let me clarify. So as far as I know the 4 Zone RGB keyboards on the legion 5s doesn't have a automatic keyboard backlit off functionality like the higher end Legion 7s as they have per key RGB keyboards. So i was wondering could we add a feature that adds this functionality? like maybe a simple script such that when the timer expires just switch the preset to "off" state and when a key is pressed or the track pad is being used the restore the old preset all automatically. Now as much as this would not be a essential features but i think of it as more of a quality of life update.
Sure one can say, "just change the preset off by using the shortcut yourself". but many are not really interested in going through all the presets just to off it for a while and then get back to the original preset. personally, I like to keep different profiles on different presets for my different work environments and hence this feature would help a lot.
Thanks for going through this idea. Would love to see it implemented. Also a Big Thanks to @BartoszCichecki for making this awesome software and making our lives easier.
