Thanks for the interest. The current plan is to port the UI to UI Toolkit, which will make this redundant. You can take a look at the WIP in the ui_toolkit_ui branch. I'm currently in the middle of shipping a game, so that probably won't be fixed anytime soon.

So your choices are:

• try that branch, see if it works for you
• figure out the bug and fix it (and perhaps even send a pull request)
• live with it for now.
