Uninstalled from OSX using app cleaner, reinstalled, themes folder was not replaced and there is no option for themes in the settings drop down anymore. Syntax highlighting appears to be part of the theme file.
For my part, I saved the files that were removed but I don't know where to put them since I'm new to Mac.
