Way to have events with no specified date/custom date

The easiest way I think would be to have some boolean for hidden date, the actual date is set to just end of semester so sorting works as normal, and another field for just custom text in place of where the date would normally be
helps us have the weekly contest and game night just up always
until end of semester that is
