How do you make requests on steam

How do you make requests on steam? Do you make requests through GRPc using protobuf methods? How do you get prices from steam?

Hey @Quv1Li you might want to take another look at the code, it’ll probably answer most of your questions.

In summary, this project makes requests to several files, such as items_game.json and csgo_english.json, which you can find here . I then proceed to extract all the information into separate JSON files.

How much time does it take you to collect all the prices? How many accounts are being used? Are you getting account IP blocks? How often does this happen?

I’m using a single account and making one request every 3 seconds. It takes a lot of time because there are around 25k items

Have you tried using more accounts + proxies? What if you make requests faster than 3 seconds, will it definitely give you a micro ban?

I only got a 429 error. I haven't tried using more accounts or proxies because I don't need this for anything relevant. This might not be the best way to get the prices.
