You might want to merge the fixes I made to the sponza model into the starter code. Also look at the modifications I made to the initMesh() function. It now computes tangents and binormals for bump mapping, and loads the textures using SOIL. If a mesh does not have one of the textures it's looking for the shaders will ignore the texture (see has*Texture flags).

Also, no texture will be loaded more than once.
