here we will fill and update all the details of roles in CP Hub

The structure of the Club is dynamic and for now, we are proceeding with an authoritarian model. At a later date, I hope that the club shifts to a democratic model while not compromising on the goal of ICPC.

An overview on types of roles at CP Hub:

• Leadership roles
  • Captain Team
  • President and Vice President
• Mirror Team
• Workshop Team
• Web Admin
• Bot Admin
• Outreach Team

Leadership roles

Captain Team

• The team that performs the best in ICPC gets to chose which ICPC-Team gets to be the captain Team
• Captain Team is supposed to make sure the quality and quantity of ICPC related events are maintained
• Making sure the majority of events are related to the advancement of ICPC and CP in NITC. Naturally, Mirror
• Team is their closest ally in this regard

President and Vice President

• Final year students are to submit an application to pass out students and pass out decide who is to be the president.
• Newly Appointed President can pick anyone as Vice President
• President is responsible for choosing heads of other areas and working with them to ensure that club is working properly.

Mirror Team

• This Team has one head who is appointed by the president; we expect that this person has the highest experience with setting mirrors.
• Mirror Team sets Mirror Contests and Beginner Contests for people to participate and maintain a database of contests for quality assurance purposes.
• Take NITC to ICPC. When ICPC notification comes make sure to spread the info to every student.
• Collect and consolidate the performance of ICPC-Teams in Mirrors and other contests, provide constructive criticism to help people progress.

Workshop Team

• This Team has two heads who are appointed by the president; we expect these two heads to have all-around skills that suit its needs.
• This Team has diverse needs, we classify them into:
  • Technical skill development Workshops
  • Non-Technical skill development Workshops
• They are expected to analyse the needs, plan and organise the event with help from the full club.
• They are to collect all the material from events and maintain them in threads repo
• Take feedback about events and improve quality

WebAdmin Team

• This Team has one head who is appointed by the president; we expect that this person has a good understanding of working of CP Hub website(Github pages and cphub.nitc.ac.in) and good relations with NITC CNC and students.
• Automate the CP Hub website actions (example: auto-update events.html)
• Make sure all broken records in Hall of Fame are kept up to date and give certificates to the orz people.

Bot Admin

• This Team has one head who is appointed by the president; we expect that this person has a good understanding of the working of discord bots and how they are hosted on the cloud (Azure).
• Bot Admins are expected to host and maintain bots (Public bots or in-house NITC bots) keep backups and everything.
• Anyone from CP Hub can make bots and entrust Bot Admins to host and entrust as a standard we prefer to dockerize the bots.

Outreach Team

• This Team has one head who is appointed by the president; we expect that this person can build and maintain CP Hub's image.
• The Team is expected to handle the social media handles of CP Hub
• Make and handle incoming requests for Collaboration to CP Hub for events and enquires
• All the conversations between CP Hub and NITC Faculty must happen through Outreach Team

Note 1: A general note each Team will have one Head who is assigned by the President. The Team Head can have a vice-head to make better decisions and prevent a single point of failure.

Note 2: The president can adjust roles for the purpose of ease of functioning while not compromising on the Goal of ICPC.
