Creating multiple time series plots using ggplot to show the change in temperature, salinity, oxygen, etc. over time

• How should I bin the depths?
• How can I accurately show breaks between the sampling periods on the graphs? (b/t quarters)
  
  This plot shows the oxygen mL/L over time for depths between 0 and 15 meters inclusive

Change geom_line to geom_point, with lines to show connections between sampling dates? This would eliminate confusion with where "breaks" from sampling occur. Add error bars after doing this!

• Need help binning depths
• Visualize the average for each date/range of dates for each season? (each point shown is the average vs. each point is every sample)
• I know how to use the error bars (just not implemented yet)
• Trouble with displaying 2 depth ranges on the same plot (problems with inconsistent NA values for dates and depths)

• Initially aggregate values by quarter for each year to compute means for temperature and oxygen based on depth
• Create time series plot (using geom_point) that shows the averages for temperature/oxy for each quarter with error bars

• Let date range be interactive (determine start and end date)
• Depths should be interactive (think checkbox selecting one or more depth ranges)

Made function for temperature and oxygen. Each uses a start date and end date as well as a number of depth ranges to choose to display by color on the time series plot.

• add plots for chlorophyll and salinity
• find a way to use the entire depth range for plot (zero cuts)
• find instances of time series plots that are insightful/meaningful for presentation
