Major Update Proposal: Protocols Manager Plugin v1.7

I hope you’re doing well.

I’ve been using your Protocols Manager plugin extensively, and I’m a big fan of the foundation you built. I took the liberty of working on a major update to bring it to version 1.7, focusing on full compatibility with GLPI 11.

Please know that I did this with the utmost respect for your work. I simply got excited about the project’s potential and wanted to support its development by tackling some of the structural upgrades and new features needed for the latest GLPI environment.

I’ve attached the packaged plugin and a detailed Changelog.txt. Some key highlights include:

• TinyMCE Integration: Native rich text editing directly from GLPI 11.
• Modernized Rendering: Updated Dompdf configuration for better HTML5 and CSS support.
• Code Refactoring: Cleaned up menu structures and added strict type declarations to prevent crashes in newer environments.
• New Dynamic Tags: Added {reg_num}, {title}, and {category} for better document personalization.

Feel free to review, modify, or integrate whatever you see fit. My only goal is to contribute to this version's success.

Hello @VLuisVLT ,
Great work, I just implemented it. It looks fantastic!
However, there is a problem with the assets that are displayed. We have different profiles with different rights. The problem is that assets are displayed in the protocols manager tab for which the user does not actually have rights.

How can the error be fixed so that only assets are displayed for which the user has rights to open?
