Description
Issue
The blue pill displays the ticketing event but there could be greater customization available to event owners.
User Story
I arrive to a landing page of an event through a link provided to me or by using a search function. I want to be able to quickly identify that the event page I'm on is the right one.
Discussion
The blue pill is sufficient enough in most cases to identify that I'm on the correct event page to generate a ticket. However, I feel like even some minimal extra information might be beneficial to improve the landing page. I think even this small improvement would add tremendous value to the overall appearance.
Recommendation: Add the ability for an event owner to optionally include a banner or image for the event. This would probably be best handled by setting specific parameters for the event owner to follow, such as:
- File types permitted (PNG, JPEG, etc.)
- File size limit
- Dimensions (must be X pixels by X pixels)
There should also be an easy way to remove a banner if, say, it contained inappropriate images or language.
Recommendation: For a much future improvement, it would be nice if the event owner could choose a simple/standard event page or be able to add even more customization by choosing some of the colors, set a background image, add a short video, etc.
