Search over formated mobilenumber

While searching over formatted mobile number without entering the special characters it gives a empty results.
For Eg : On searching for (123) 456-7890 with 1234567890 produces 0 results.
But on searching with 12345 or 123456 or 67890 these combinations it gives results.
I am in need of the feature to search the formatted mobile number i.e. (123) 456-7890 with just numbers in the search string i.e.1234567890
