Medium statistics in WOT

Hey guys,wondering if u could help me somehow .

• My stats on this site,Clan tools, seems to have an issue with some medium statistics, notably the E50,T62-A,M46 Patton etc....and my overall rating went down from that matter by approx 70 points ?

Hello,

The people who maintain the WN8 algorithm changed the expected values (basically the baselines from which each player's stats in a given tank are measured in). E.g. the E 50 expected damage was increased by 3k. The M46 Patton's expected damage was increased by 1486. Etc... You can view the changes here: http://www.wnefficiency.net/wnexpected/ (the delta columns).

Mind this change was around 2017-01-17 (though if you haven't reloaded the page in a while, that might explain why the change was so delayed as the expected values don't update until you reload the page).

Wow... So in my E50 i was at 1460 some ishh if i recall n now at 334 . lost 900 + wn8 points....seems kinna harsh for a change

Yea, I haven't really paid much attention but there's some drama stuff or something I guess. It really highlights how arbitrary aggregate metrics like WN8 can be.

i can understand some changes but 900 + points on a tank that i've played 593 games in it is somekind of exagerated,no...

It is, the "expected damage" for an E 50 is 4.5k, which is stupid high. A T-54 is 1.4k in comparison.

It's something to do with the E 50 (and some other tanks) being considered "stat padding" tanks for whatever reason.

FYI there were some discrepancies from some sites as those websites said they would not use the new values as that were troll-values ...

the newest version fixed that. but you know the reason now :)

I still see the E 50's expected damage at 4.5k on http://www.wnefficiency.net/wnexpected/ , likewise for the M46 Patton at ~3k.
