Let’s help more Sri Lankan beginners learn Linux by translating our Linux VI Editor lesson into Sinhala! This is part of our experiment to make DevOps knowledge more accessible to local learners who prefer studying in their native language.
What You’ll Do
- Translate the content of resource.md inside the Linux VI Editor folder to Sinhala.
- Use simple, beginner-friendly Sinhala terms so even school students can understand.
- Keep technical terms (like vim, insert mode, :wq, etc.) unchanged in English.
- Add your translation to a new file named resource.si.md in the same folder.
Week 1 - Linux Fundamentals/
└── Linux VI Editor/
