Motivation:
We have a few automated emails that will be sent out to staff and applicants throughout the application process. We must create email templates and set triggers for when they should be sent.

Acceptance Criteria:
Email template scenarios:

  • Applicant submits an application → staff with the corresponding discipline is sent an automated email stating that there is a new application submitted for review.
    • Trigger: When a new application record is created and saved in the system.
  • Applicant submits an application → applicant receives an automated email stating that their application has been received and that they can create an account on the application portal to track their status.
    • The email should note that they must use the same name and email that they used in their application for their account to be created.
    • Trigger: When the applicant successfully submits their application.
  • Applicant is rejected → when staff rejects an application, the applicant is sent an automated email stating that they have been rejected.
    • Trigger: When the application status is updated to “Rejected.”
  • Applicant is accepted → when staff accepts an application, the applicant is sent an automated email stating that they have been accepted and that the next step is for them to complete some forms.
    • The email should state that the forms are available in their MyForms tab in the applicant portal.
    • Trigger: When the application status is updated to “Accepted.”
