The goal of this project is to create a web-based scheduling system for CosmoQuest-a-Con and similar events. Ideally, it will allow public and behind-the-scenes schedules to be generated, along with specific schedules for the guests and speakers.

It would be nice to be able to have a widget(s) that could be included on-screen in Wirecast or OBS that display what's coming up and when, maybe with a countdown timer.

Extra bonus points if we can get it to generate the emails going to the attendees and speakers/performers.

It will probably use a mix of PHP on the backend and for output, Javascript on the frontend, and a Maria/MySQL database for storing stuff. It could be made more portable if it can be wrapped up in a Docker container, and that will make testing easier, too.

These are just ideas to get the ball rolling. There's a lot of pieces we'll need to think carefully about to make sure we make this as flexible as possible.
