Do something sensible about nsides in components and maps

We have recently started smoothing the noise input files, and so we have code that smoothes input maps to a desired nside and fwhm. Should we consider applying these to bands and components as well? Ie. if I have a dust input map at nside 1024 but I want it at nside 16, can we just do that automatically inside commander? You could only do it for lower nsides probably, but it would save a lot of issues with the low-resolutions datasets we are implementing now
