Terrible performance with character loading

Describe the bug
Especially beefy characters slow down the client to a crawl and make it near unusable.

To reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Grab a big boi and install it
2. Use big boi
3. Cry

Expected behavior
Client doesn't die a horrible lag death
