Integrate documentation more tightly with app

The current documentation is hardly used. Based on previous feedback I assume this is not the case because it is not required, but because it is somewhat inaccessible.

Ideally I would want to integrate the documentation very tightly into the application itself, i.e. link to relevant parts of the documentation "everywhere".

I would be very happy about other suggestions on how to improve the documentation and/or its integration.
