`VALUE` columns are random string and not environment variables by default

I followed the exact steps mentioned here till Using Postman section.

Somehow, the VALUEs are not set.


The values are random strings like laboris in ullamco. I know I can change and update those via {{variable_here}} but as per the documentation it claims to do it already.
Did I miss something?

I think that you may have misinterpreted the documentation. The Query/Body params are not supposed to be automatically populated as far as I can tell. You set up the environment variables as per the https://github.com/CurrencyCloud/currencycloud-swagger/blob/master/POSTMAN_README.md#environments
once done, you will need to update the fields such as login_id with the matching environment value, e.g. {{login_id}}

For fields that are not part of the environment, such as currency_pair, you can replace this with the required value, e.g. USDEUR

Postman will populate the query/body parameters with the default value if it is defined, otherwise it will populate it with a random string as you have seen.
