Would anyone be up for joining me in making this work and extend it out more? Was about to start a very similar project like this but maybe better to contribute to this?

@ventil8 I created this project for an internship in 2018 - I'd be happy for other folks to manage and contribute to it. I have not had the capacity to resolve the open issues or pull requests myself. Let me know if I can do anything to facilitate that.
