Alright, I'm quite new to all of this, technically I'm (as much as I hate to admit) still at script kiddie level so help me out.

When I run gcc xerxes.c -o xerxes , it displays the error message that I put in the title. Google and DuckDuckGo isn't being of any help, I've uninstalled and reinstalled XerXes a few times, did sudo apt update & upgrade, and I don't know what else to do.
If anyone knows a fix to this so I can use this, I'd appreciate it.
This is on a virtual machine of Debian 12.7.0.

Thanks in advance.
