datasets not downloading/cloning properly

Most likely it's something on my end but when I clone the repo, the csv files seem to be data blobs or something instead of text. When I view them on github they appear properly. I'm sure I could copy and paste each and every data file manually but that would be tedious.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
