Lost everything in Backpack when converting from standard to other backpack

When I crafted my standard backpack into an ocelot backpack I lost EVERYTHING that I had in the backpack when it got converted and now I am VERY angry that I lost my stuff! Hopefully this bug can be fixed in the future, because I am disappointed with this bug.
