Support for Github Copilot inside VS Code

With polyglot we used to be able to easily use Github Copilot: inline suggestions, code block suggestion and completion, chatting and letting the agents manage the notebook and create/edit cells as needed.

With Verso, it doesn't work at all :(

Thanks for the feature request. This is in the plan for exploring the possibilities of supporting in an upcoming release. In the meantime it's already possible for Copilot and AI such as Claude to edit and create verso notebooks. As long as you have a few example verso notebooks they typically read those files and can instantly create or edit others.

An upcoming version will include support for @verso in the chat window. Here's an example:

• @verso add a C# cell that generates a list of 100 random numbers
• @verso run cell 3 and explain the output
• @verso what variables are in scope?
• @verso change cell 2 to use LINQ instead of a for loop
