Dynamic cell header makes whole code blocks shift

I found it distracting and annoying when hovering between cell boundaries causes cell header to collapse and appear and half of screen of code shifting up and down in the eyes. I suggest to make the cell header static. Same is also related to new cell insertion menu - just pin it for now, the fancy UI not worth the code flickering

My thoughts are the same when it comes to hovering over cells and the cell toolbar causes a visual shift. The buttons that can appear between the cells not as much, but I get the point.

In the same boat is interaction after running the cells. To avoid the issue in this video I've been considering a new layout meant for interaction or simply viewing the executed notebook.

So is it possible to just make the header static? Is it something owned by side framework or its under control of verso notebook rendering layout?

It's controlled by the active rendering layout extension. Here's the current behavior that will be used when 1.0.7 is released (or if someone is using the GitHub source).

Update: A 500ms update was added before the buttons between cells will appear. This change was included with 1.0.7 that has been released.
