Can't figure out how to create a seed/edit rando settings

Hi,
I have been pouring over this git for a few days and I just can't for the life of me figure it out. I am able to randomize the game, but how do I edit the randomizer settings?

Open the settings.lua file in something like notepad and change whatever you want and save it again. As. A warning if you are using OpenKH dont hit build again.
