Discard Chance on Air Exposure value resets

Due to the "new" cave generation I want to lower the chance to find diamond ores in caves as it's currently too high.
I tried to increase the Discard Chance on Air Exposure but instead of saving it always just resets. Other changes are saved.

I'm running paper 1.21.1 and ore-control-2024.12.14

Also the add/ substract values don't always equal +/- 0.1 or 0.01 for the Discard Chance on Air Exposure option.
