Remove dependencies on how Postman does things #2
Description
There are various spots in the code that lament how we're doing things all because the postman file required it. And initially, yes it was important to be able to run the two side-by-side.
(And I don't necessarily want to lose that... however, if it comes with a big gain like a simplified input script, that might be worth it.)
